Tommy “Tom” Ray Ketcher, 66, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019. Cremation is planned, and services will be held at a later date. Tom was born on August 1, 1952 to Gerald and Betty (Hendrickson) Ketcher in Miami, OK. After high school, Tom went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in computer programming and worked for the company currently known as HP until his retirement in 2017. Tom enlisted in the Army in 1975 and served for 10 years. Daughter, Abbie was also born in 1975. In 2007, he married Theresa Kobe and gained two stepchildren, Jessica and Adam Bronson. Tom was a kind and caring man, husband, father and stepfather, and later grandfather. He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. He also loved music and was a lyricist and artist. Tom enjoyed traveling with Theresa and watching sports, especially if the Sooners, Cowboys, Chiefs or Royals were playing. He also liked attending concerts and sports cars. Tom is survived by his wife, Theresa Kobe; daughter, Abbie Ochoa; stepchildren, Jessica and Adam Bronson; mother, Betty Ketcher; grandchildren, Nicholas, Valerie and Gabriela Ochoa; and step grandchildren, Evan Bronson and Catherine Watkins. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald and son, Thomas Christopher Ketcher.
