Billy Kidwell, 27, of Independence passed away November 11, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, with burial at 3:00 pm in Aikens Cemetery, Aikens, MO. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8:00 pm at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial fund in Billy�s name. All proceeds will go towards a lasting tribute to Billy. Billy was born on April 18, 1978 to Harry "Joe� Kidwell and Debbie Rae (McCaulley) Briegel in Lexington, MO. He was a graduate of Blue Springs South High School and had been employed for the last several years at Dwyer Instruments. Billy had the strength and courage for 10 men. He faced adversity with inner strength and a smile. Billy was truly an inspiration to all that knew him. Survivors include his father Joe Kidwell, and step-mother, Elaine of the home; mother, Debbie Briegel, sister Brianne; step-brothers, Charles and William; step-sisters, Julee and Toni. Billy also leaves behind his true love, and source of his inspiration, Kerry Metzger.
