Kathryn Jane Kilgore (Stewart)

Kathryn Kilgore, 66, of Independence, MO passed away August 25, 2020. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Monday, August 31, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, at Plumlee Cemetery, Compton, AR. Kathy was born April 3, 1954 in Kansas City, MO to Theodore Wilson Stewart and Ruby Lee (Ryan) James. She was married to Gary Kilgore on August 18, 1979. Kathy was a proud employee of Hallmark, until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her father; and husband, Gary Kilgore. Kathy is survived by her son, Chris Kilgore; daughter, Alicia Kilgore; mother, Ruby James; sister, Laura Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.
