Carl W. King, 78, of Buckner, MO passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital, Columbia, MO. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2003 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel with the burial at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service from 2-3:00 p.m. Carl was born on February 27, 1925 in Martinsville, MO to Charles and Edith King. He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Ray King; and four brothers, Edward Eugene King, Floyd Dean King, Earnest Ray King and Garvin King; one sister, Grace Reynolds; and grandson, John Yardley III. He is survived by his wife, Wilma King; two sons, Don King and Carl King Jr; one daughter, Dorothy Ann Yardley; two brothers, Robert and Dorland Edward King; one sister, Velma Maddox; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
