Ellen Maxcine King (Hardy)

Ellen Maxcine King, 91 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Rosewood Health Center. Cremation is planned with private family services at a later date. Ellen was born September 26, 1928 in Cockrell, MO to Hiram and Dollie (Moody) Hardy. She had worked as a nurse in the healthcare industry for a number of years and later was a hairdresser and cosmetologist. She enjoyed flower gardening, was a pet lover and very independent lady throughout her life. She was a member of the Assemble of God Church. Survivors include; 4 stepdaughters, Terri Vasquez and Tammy King both of Independence, Melanie Doss of Florida and Jamie King; a step son, Douglas King of California and numerous other family and close friends.
