Albert Kirchhoff, 82, of Independence, MO passed away March 19, 2005 at the Rosewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Indep., MO. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. Graveside services at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Blackburn Cemetery, Blackburn, MO. Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation. Albert was born on November 18, 1922 in Blackburn, MO to Robert G. G. and Fannie S. Kirchhoff. He was a decorated member of the United States Army. He was kind, generous and caring towards mankind. Albert was the owner of Pappy�s Den, Independence, MO. His favorite past time was working at his bar. Albert was a great prankster, and loved to tease his patrons. He was respected by many, and loved by most everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva E. Kirchhoff; and grandchild, Iva Sophia Kirchhoff. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Bassett and Pamela J. Gossey and husband Robert; one son, Robert W. Kirchhoff and wife Carolyn; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and his special friend, JoAnne Pasley.
