Ruth A. Kleiber

Ruth A. Kleiber, 90, of Lee�s Summit, MO passed away Fri., Nov 14th, 2003 at the John Knox Village Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am Wed. Nov 19, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home, Inurnment to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 11:00 am until time of service. The family request no flowers and suggest contributions to the John Knox Village Hospice program, 400 NW Murray Rd. Lee�s Summit, MO 64081. Mrs. Kleiber was born on July 2, 1913 to Cyrus and Marie Willis in Arcadia, KS. She along with her husband, Floyd had owned and operated the Hi-Boy Drive-in Chain from 1956 until he retired in 1981. She was employed by the Department of the Air Force at Richard Gebaur AFB as a Civilian Personnel Officer for 20 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Past member of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the Business and Professional Women�s club, the Federal Personnel Council and Auxiliary to Research Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd and a daughter, Clodie Hanrahan. She is survived by a daughter Sandra Luck and husband Mark of Raytown, MO. Four grandchildren, Nicole Buckles, Gregory Houston, Thomas Hanrahan and Mike Hanrahan. Three great grandchildren, Kyle, Gloria and Serra Hanrahan. A nephew and wife, Mal & Irene Kleiber of Hutchinson, KS. She is also survived by a special friend of 65 years, Dorothy Kincaid of Lee�s Summit, MO.
