Edith Margaret Klick, 82, Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Edith was born August 5, 1929 in Lucas County, IA the daughter of Clell and Ellen (Ewald) Whitlatch. She enjoyed serving others and sending letters of comfort to people around the world.
Edith was preceded in death by her sister, Clella Swarthout; brother, Gary Whitlatch; and her parents.
Survivors include her loving husband Charles Klick of 62 years; sons, John Klick, and Jim R. Klick and wife Debbie; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Alice Doland and Mary Sidles.
