Truman A. Truman, 89, of Lee�s Summit, MO, passed away, Sunday, June 20, 2004 at the Truman Medical Center Lakewood. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Armour Heights Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, MO. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Truman was born February 23, 1915 in Sedalia, MO to Robert and Gladys (Potter) Knox. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Knox Trailer Sales in Kansas City for a number of years before he retired. He was married to Naomi Tindle for over 62 years, she passed away in 1994. He then married Gloria Hutchens who survives him of the home. Other survivors include; 3 sons, Larry Knox of Overland Park, KS, Roger Knox of Kansas City, MO and Bill Knox of Belton, MO; a granddaughter, Lynn Meyer of Peculiar, MO; 2 grandsons, Eric Knox of Bethesda, MD and Aaron Knox Kansas City, MO. and 3 great grandchildren. Donations may be made to the Armour Heights Baptist Church.
