David John "Dave" Kochanowicz

Dave and Carol Kochanowicz went home to be with the Lord in September 2021. Dave and Carol were high school sweethearts, and they were married for 46 years. Both accepted Jesus as their personal savior shortly before their marriage on April 25, 1975. Both were involved in their church, and they passed the love of Christ onto their three children. Dave was always eager to help others when something needed to be built or repaired. He enjoyed Hamm radio and spending time playing with his children and grandchildren. He was always a kid at heart. Carol enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, cooking, crafting, and gardening. She was always ready to volunteer and lend a hand in any way she could. Carol loved the Lord, and she was active in the ladies ministry at her church. Dave and Carol leave behind three children; Jessica Kochanowicz, Jeremy Kochanowicz, and Mark Kochanowicz as well as nine grandchildren in order of age; Mason, Kallee, Khloee, Anya, Leeland, Evy, Kyle, Buz and Wylla. Dave also leaves behind his siblings; Anne Petersen, Sandra Saner, Andrew Kochanowicz, and Larry Kochanowicz. Carol also leaves behind her brothers; Gilbert Loeffler and Gene Loeffler.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. at, followed by a service to celebrate David and Carols life at 2:00 p.m., both at Tri-City Baptist Church, 430 NE Duncan Rd., Blue Springs, MO 64014. The service will be livestreamed via Tri- City Baptist Church for those who would like to virtually attend their service. Dave and Carol will be laid to rest at Valley Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley, MO.
