Rylan Charles Kohl, 15 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Cremation is planned with a celebration of life to be held at 3:30pm on April 8, 2017, with a 2:30pm time of reflection both at Point of Hope Church 1215A N. 7 Hwy, Blue Springs, MO 64015.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Rylan to be made to Lighthouse Church Youth Group in Blue Springs and Troop 865 c/o treasurer, 1690 SE 44th St. S., Independence, MO.
Rylan was born on August 12, 2001 and was the middle son of three children. Rylan was a freshman at the Freshman Center at Blue Springs. He was a Boy Scout with Troop 865 of Independence, and had achieved a Star Level. He was also a member of the Lighthouse Church Youth Group of Blue Springs. He enjoyed cooking bizarre food with his sister Reagan, playing games on family game night, working out, and having Airsoft wars. Rylan is survived by; his mom, Karla and stepdad Neal of Independence, MO; grandparents, Delbert and Phyllis Kohl of Independence, MO; sister, Reagan, sister, Megan Bergen of California, and brother Jadon as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
