Stephen Joseph Koska

Stephen Joseph Koska, 70 of Independence, MO passed away Monday January 1, 2007 at North Kansas City Hospital. A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Private interment will be held in St. Mary�s Catholic Cemetery. He was born November 8, 1936 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Nellie (Marek) Koska and had been a lifelong area resident. Stephen was a graduate of East High School in 1954 and member of the Sheet Metals Workers Local #2, retiring in 1991. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Bahar; a son Sheldon Koska; grandson, Raj Bahar; former wife and friend, Shirley Seaton; sisters, Teresa Mays, Mary Ann Smith, Barbara Gorman and a niece and nephews. Stephen also leaves behind many close and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Koska, his mother, Nellie Stawinoga and brother Paul Koska. Dad, you will be missed greatly but in our hearts forever. Love Steph and Sheldon .
