Wayne Kenneth Kranz

Wayne K. Kranz, 83, of Kansas City, MO passed away February 18, 2020. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Monday, February 24, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial will be at Floral Hills East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospitals or Ascend Hospice. Wayne was born September 3, 1936 in Higginsville, MO to Alfred and Nora (Czeschin) Kranz. He was a member of the Ararat Shrine. Wayne loved collectible toy tractors (big and small), and had a love for several old cars and cruise nights. To Wayne, family was his true love. He retired from the construction industry after 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Loydine (Hoffman) Kranz; four children, Gregory Kranz (Mary Ellen), Jeffrey Kranz (Christy), Bridget Becka (Steve) and Heidi McClelland (Kevin); ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
