Leslie Jane Kuder, 61, of Independence, MO, passed away, Monday, July 4, 2005 at her lake home in Warsaw, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2005 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the chapel. Donations may be made to Special Care Homes of Missouri c/o Immanuel Baptist Church. Leslie was born April 3, 1944 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Leslie and Esther Sue (Bell) Cox. She attended public schools and graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1962 and had attended Southwest Baptist College for a year. She worked at Western Electric, Sears & Roebuck Company and Hallmark Cards before going to work for the Internal Revenue Service as a data clerk for the past 20 years. She enjoyed stamping, antique collecting as well being an accomplished oil painter. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU and was a Sunday school teacher. She was married to Leonard Keith Kuder on March 7, 1964, he survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 daughters, Christy Burger and her husband Scott of Belton, MO and Melanie Nance and her husband Mark of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Samantha, Becky, Stacey and Nicole Burger; sisters, Carol Dunnam of Sugar Creek, MO and Patricia Tuckness of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law Edna Kuder; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dale and Carol Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Esther Sue Cox. Leslie never met anyone she did not like and was always there to lend a hand to. She was devout in her faith and Christ shined through her.
