Henry Milfred "Larry" Laird

Henry Milfred "Larry� Laird, 92 of Independence, MO passed away on Tue. Nov. 25, 2003 at St. Mary�s Hospital of Blue Springs. Services will be 2:00 pm, Sat. Nov. 29, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time. Mr. Laird was born on Sep 15, 1911 to Henry and Catherine Laird in Metropolis, IL and had lived most of his life in Independence. He had been a Mechanic for C & C Auto Service for many years retiring in 1978. He was an army veteran of WWII and a member of the American legion Post 499 in Blue Springs, MO. Mr. Laird was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Laird and by a stepson, Stan Chapman. He is survived by three nephews, John Farris of Independence, MO, Steve Farris of Blue Springs, MO and Daniel Gallaher of Independence, MO. Two nieces, Barbara Fordham and Vicky Mindrup, both of Independence, MO.
