Robert Lakey

Robert “Bob” B. Lakey, 55 of Lake Tapawingo, MO passed away Mon. July 30, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Bob’s life, will be 1:00 pm, Sun. Aug 5, 2007 at the Lake Tapawingo Club House. Bob was born on Jan. 29, 1952 to Bernard and Pearl (Thompson) Lakey in Kansas City, MO. He had been a service technician for Cullum & Brown Inc for the past 2 years. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoy the simple life by spending time with his family, fishing and hanging around the lake. He was a member of the Lake Tapawingo Sportsman’s Club. Bob is survived by his wife of 27 years, Judie Lakey of Lake Tapawingo, MO. Four sons, Michael Johnson and wife Sonia of Kansas City, MO, Jason Johnson and wife Christina of Greenwood, MO, Jeremy Lakey and companion Ann Mueller of Pleasant Valley, MO and Matthew Johnson and wife Amy of Lee’s Summit, MO. Two daughters, Jackie Arnott and husband Russell of Bates City, MO and Melissa Phillips and husband Danny of Lee’s Summit, MO. A brother, Thomas Lakey of Belton; three sisters, Virginia Cannon of Edgerton, KS, Jane Crider of Gardner, KS and Phyllis Davis of Belton, MO and by 10 grandchildren and another one on the way.
