Phillip L. Lambert, 75 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel prior to the services. Phillip was born May 23, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to James Fines and Constance Jane (Myers) Lambert and has been a lifelong area resident. He had worked for over 41 years as a plater for Bendix Corporation before he retired in 1992. He was a member of the Queen City Kiwanis, Order of De Molay, Tribe of Mic-O-Say, Cub Scout leader and scout master for Troop #263. He proudly served as an Senior Aircraft Mechanic for the Air Force in the Korean Conflict from 1952-56. He was married to Doris (Hilker) on June 9, 1956, she survives of the home. Other survivors include; a son, Michael A. Lambert and his wife Jane of Odessa, MO; a daughter-in-law Robyn Lambert of Hamilton, MO; 2 grandchildren, Travis and Savannah Lambert and 4 great grandchildren, Alysa, Alyson, Ronnie and Daniel.
