A brilliant and shining star burned out too soon on November 9, 2006. Jesse Denton Lamison entered our world on June 11, 1985 and brightened many lives in his short time on this earth. So many words can describe Jesse but none can capture the entirety of his life. Jesse lived his life to the fullest, completely enjoying all life presented to him. So many wonderful and precious memories will live on in our hearts - his zeal for automobiles was obvious early by his recognizing the Volvo makes before he was even 2 years old; his quest for the universe began in grade school with model rockets and continued through traveling America with plans for Europe at Thanksgiving; his eagerness to explore nature led him to become an Eagle Scout in Troop 492; his love for detail and design shown in CAD (computer aided drafting) in high school, earning 2nd in state competition; and his zest for living included skydiving and his ATV riding at home. Jesses 1st car was a Mercedes Benz, which we called the TinkerToy car, followed by other Benz sedans and his 2-door convertibles. Jesse was Co-Editor of the Fort Osage High School Yearbook, active in Foreign Language Club (French), and a member of National Honor Society, working at QuikTrip in his junior-senior years. Jesse went on the class trip in June to Washington, D.C., receiving a birthday card from President Clinton. Travel was a large part of this short life, with trips to Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, New York, Canada, and Florida; driving to Oregon at 16 with dad; and Scout trips to Colorado and Oklahoma. So many words come to mind when thinking of Jesse - he was intelligent, handsome, happy, kind, generous, hard-working, dependable, and such a class act. Following graduation, Jesse was offered a "temporary summer job by Focal Point Launch Support, which lasted over 3 years. Jesse attended Longview Community College with his major in engineering. Jesse meant so much to so many - computer guru, chauffeur, handyman, advisor, mechanic, eBay seller, caretaker/caregiver, and photographer.
Jesse leaves behind his loving family - parents Paul and Becky; brothers Justin and James; grandma Shell Ann Everett; great aunt Marie Knoles; uncles Darrell Everett, Mark Haley, aunts Karin Everett-Zipper, Jackie Dorman, and their families; and many cousins and friends.
