Clarence Edgar Land

Clarence Edgar Land, 78, Independence, MO. passed away Jan. 13, 2005 at Medical Center of Independence. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 at the Church of Jesus Christ, Hill Cumorah Restoration Branch. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Hill Cumorah Oblation Fund. Clarence was born Sept. 6, 1926 in Shelbrook, Saskatchewan to Norman and Grace Land. He was a lifetime member of the RLDS Church and most recently was the pastor of Hill Cumorah Restoration Branch. He enjoyed reading and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years Marjorie Mae Land on Nov. 10, 2004, and is survived by daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Duane Duff, Vancouver, Canada; son Garry Land, Canada; daughter Susan Land, Englewood, CO.; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
