Harriette H. Lane

Harriette H. Lane, 95, of Independence, MO passed away on September 26, 2005 at the Medical Center of Independence. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. An inurnment service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Mound Grove Mausoleum. Harriette was born on October 20, 1909 in Independence, MO to John and Nellie Greer. She lived a long, full and enlightened life, loving all of the children and animals that ever came through her neighborhood, and was always ready to help in any way she could. Harriette had a deep faith in, and love for God, that saw her through any difficulties that ever came her way. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Victor Lane, the love of her life. Harriette is survived by many loving friends.
