Naomi Lee Lang, 57 of Independence, Missouri was called home to be with the Lord Monday
November 21, 2016. She leaves behind her long time companion David Ward of the home, four
daughters, Chasity Bell (Jerome), Lisa Lang (Matt Inman), Shannon Hubbard (Thomas Evans)
& Sarah Hubbard all of Independence, Missouri. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren,
Joshua and Justin Wirth, Kambreia Inman, Jager Wirth, Dacommah and Dalton Inman,
Brooklynn Baker, Skyllar Bell, Alexia Sheridan and Makynzlee Evans, two sisters Cathie
Schioppa of Long Island, New York and Gayle Rodriguez (Robert) of Independence, Missouri,
nephew Jeremy Dilday (Shannon) of Apopka, FL and niece Candice Schioppa (Brian
Encarnacion) of Long Island, New York, great nephew Bryce Dilday and great niece Brooke
Dilday of Apopka, FL along with numerous cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Gaylan and Lois Olinger, granddaughter
Madison Skye Inman, niece Flora Elizabeth Rodriguez, both paternal grandparents Jesse and
Verona Olinger and both maternal grandparents Lafayette and Della Riddle,19 Uncles and 16
Aunts.
Naomi was a life long resident of Independence, Missouri. She graduated from Truman High
School in 1976. She was a former Teamster with the International Paper’s Union. She worked
at Union Camp Box Company and throughout the years at Designer Products, U Wrench It and
the The Brothers Pets.
She was a loving companion, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved
her family and friends, always had their back and would do anything for them. She loved to
cook, sew, make jewelry and collect Coca Cola memorabilia and have a great time. She will be
greatly missed by so many until we meet again.
