Vernon Harold Langford, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at his home. Cremation. No services. Contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice.
Harold was born May 23, 1927 in Kansas City, MO to Frank and Liza Pearl (Jackson) Langford. He served in the U.S. Army and was in the infantry during both WWII and the Korean War. Harold enjoyed his dog Charlie, boxing, scratch-off tickets, fishing, shrimping, and cooking, but above all, loved his grandkids and was proud of all his family. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Grace (Golden) Langford; children: Harold Dean, Sharon, Brenda, and Linda; sister, Patricia Brewer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends
