Raymond Thomas Lanigan

Raymond T. Lanigan, 92 of Independence, MO passed away Fri Sep 2, 2005 at the Lee�s Summit Hospital.. Visitation will be held from 7 - 8:30 pm, Tuesday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Indep. MO Graveside services will be 10 am, Wed. Sep 7, 2005 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Lanigan was born on Jan 4, 1913 to Patrick and Rose (Conley) Lanigan in Pierce City, MO. Mr. Lanigan had worked for the Golf Oil Corporation, The Texas company and the Kaw Pipeline Company of Russell, KS before joining the Nations Weather Service from which he retired. He was a US Army veteran and had served in Australia during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21 and St. Ann�s Catholic Church. Mr. Lanigan was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Lanigan in 1991. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Henderson, great granddaughter, Stacy Nicholas and his great great granddaughter, Makena Nicholas all of San Bernardino, CA.
