Connie Larkin passed away Friday July 2, 2021 at Homestead Assisted Living and Memory Care of Eudora Kansas.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mount Washington Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.
Connie was born to Frank and Jayne (Wiseman) Larkin in Council Bluffs, Iowa June 29, 1930. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School class of 1948. Soon after graduation, Connie married the love of her life, William L. “Bill” Larkin, and they moved to Independence, Missouri. From their beautiful union came 3 Children, son, Bill and daughters, Patricia and Karen.
Connie was a 4-H Leader for many years and a part of the Missouri Extension. She taught Sunday School at church. She loved playing the piano and was a very avid reader; Most of all she was a wonderful mother, wife and a tremendous grandmother who adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Patricia (James) Bondurant, of Lawrence, KS and Karen Larkin of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Tom (Jessica) Bondurant and Brian Bondurant, Hannah (Dylan) Preston and Aubrey Larkin; 2 great-grandchildren, Penelope and Remington; siblings, Nancy (John) Shultz and Gary Corlies; Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jayne Corlies; husband of 53 years, William L. “Bill” Larkin, Sr.; and her son, William L. “Bill” Larkin, Jr.
