Ralph C. LaRose, 82, Independence, MO passed away Dec. 4, 2016. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, Dec. 9 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64062; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the chapel. Ralph was born July 22, 1934 in Marshall Junction, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an electrician who owned his own electrical service before going to work at the GM Leeds plant. He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly church, the U.A.W, the Masonic Lodge and the Ararat Shrine. He loved traveling and visiting family in Alaska many times. He also enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee and also watching Westerns on TV. Ralph was preceded in death by son Sonny LaRose, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Ruby LaRose, of the home; daughter Nancy Keener and husband Joel, Alma AR; sons Danny LaRose, Lee’s Summit, MO; Steven LaRose and wife Susie, Guerneville, CA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
