RANDY JAMES LARSON, 67, of Independence, MO, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2016. He was surrounded by family, including his beloved wife of 32 years, Jill Fischer Larson. He is survived by his children; Renee Larson of Des Moines, IA; Bonni Turnbow(Joe) of Peculiar, MO; and Rob Larson of Camdenton, MO.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Gail Walton. Survivors include four sisters; Deneice Crowe of Portsmouth, VA; Jackie Waszkiewicz of Richmond, MI; Sherri Connolly (Pat) of Zephyr Hills, FL; Diane Hendrickson(Tom) of Pea Ridge, AR; and one brother, Harold Rodenborn (Gerri) of Long Beach, CA. He is survived by 10 grandchildren; Sydney Strable (Seth); Vaughan Turnbow; Kinzie Larson; Nolan Turnbow; Blake Larson; Payton Turnbow; Kelsie Larson; Taylor Larson; Jay Turnbow; Marlee Maring; and six great-grandchildren. Randy Larson moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, MO, in 1970, where he began his 44-year career as a manager of industrial supplies. He met a teacher in the Camdenton School District named Jill Fischer. They were married in 1983. They moved to Independence, MO, in 1993, where he worked until his retirement in 2012. Plans for a gathering to celebrate Randy's life will be announced soon.
