Charlotte Laterra

Charlotte Ruth Laterra, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed into Gods loving arms on July 15, 2012 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Maple Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E 39th Street, Independence, MO.
Charlotte was born November 8, 1926. She was raised by her loving parents Norine Mae (Gossard) and step father Charles Hatfield. She attended Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and served on their Altar Society. She was also a volunteer for the Bishop Sullivan Center for 15 years.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Margaret Bessenbacher. She is survived by four loving children, Kathy Pyron and husband Toby of Orlando, FL, Thomas Laterra, of Blue Springs, MO, John Laterra and wife Connie of Lincoln, MO, George Laterra, of the home; four grandchildren, Kristina, Scott, and John Weber, Cammie Miller and husband Jason; four great-grandchildren, Trenton, Tanner, Trevor and Alexis Miller.
