Darlene Marie Lauderdale, 68, Our loving mother of Lee's Summit, Mo, passed away on August 10th, 2022.
Proceeded in death by Father Francis and Mother Ardeena Maxwell, sister Carolyn Maxwell. Survived by Son, Thomas Lauderdale (Stacey), Daughter Kaitlyn Wilson (Derek)and Son Robert, Grandchildren Liliana, August, Chase, and Banks, and Sisters Pam Simms and Jan Wickham.
Darlene was a longtime season ticket holder of The Kansas City Chiefs and loved cheering them on from Section 313 every Sunday. She frequently traveled throughout her life, finding peace and tranquility at the beach. Darlene was a great listener. She spent many hours talking and giving advice to whoever sat down at her kitchen table. She loved her family deeply and made friends wherever she went. Darlene will be forever loved and missed.
Celebration of Life will be held on September 3rd, 2022, at Llewelyn's Pub in Lee's Summit, Mo, from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Darlene's love of dogs, the family is asking for donations to the animal rescue of your choice in Darlene's name.
