Romona Lauffer

Romona Jeanne (Cook) Lauffer, 68, of Lawson, MO passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at home. A Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, May 25, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial at Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO. Romona was born July 24, 1943 in Hurdland, MO, the youngest daughter of Jesse R. and Pauline F. (Campbell) Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters; Virginia, Juanita, and Laura. Romona is survived by her husband, Harold Wayne Lauffer; daughter, Jayleen Pfaffly (Jeff); sons, Harold Gene Lauffer and Scott Lauffer; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Chelsea, Brooklynn, Brandy, and Scott; two sisters, Winona and Leah; and one brother, Jesse Howard; as well as many cherished brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
