Ada M. Laughlin

Ada M. Laughlin, 96 of Independence, MO passed away Sun. Nov. 2, 2003 at the Carmel Hills Nursing Home. Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 - 8:30 pm, Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Laughlin was born on Dec. 6, 1906 in Mesa, AZ and has lived in Missouri most of her life, having lived in Kansas City and Independence since 1925. She had been an order filler with Montgomery Ward and Company, retiring after seventeen years of service. She was a member of the Mount Washington United Methodist Church and took an active roll in its United Methodist Women�s Society. Mrs. Laughlin was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Davis Laughlin in 1985. She is survived by a son and his wife, John and Glenda Laughlin of Meadow Vista, CA. A daughter, Mildred Campbell of Independence, MO. Four grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie & Bob Hodal, Dianne and Dennis Neblock, Donna and Randy Sharp and Dan and Claire Laughlin. Four great grandchildren, Lanny Burdick, Brandan Burdick, Megan Neblock and Celena Sharp. Four great great grandchildren, Alexis Sharp, Mackenzie Graves, Max Laughlin and Ben Laughlin.
