Ralph E. Laughlin

Ralph E. Laughlin, 92, of Independence, MO passed away on January 21, 2005 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. A visitation will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26,at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the chapel with burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the New Walnut Park Community of Christ Church. Mr. Laughlin was born on February 23, 1912 in Polk County, Iowa to James and Ollie Laughlin. He was a retired member of the Retail Clerks Union, and was a long-time member of the New Walnut Park Community of Christ Church. Ralph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Muriel Laughlin; three daughters, Joyce M. Meinders, Ruth Ann Foster and Kathy McPhail; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
