Jude Everett Lausten

Jude E. Lausten, 5, of Independence, MO passed away in the loving arms of his family on January 24, 2018. Memorial services will be held 11 am Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Jude was born on February 20, 2012 in Kansas City, MO to Joseph and Jessica (Thoele) Lausten. He loved music, Batman, and Clifford the big red dog. He enjoyed his time with his siblings watching NetFlix. His constant companions were his service dog Blu and the family dog Bolt. They had a special bond with Jude. He liked being outdoors whenever possible and especially the zoo. In the quiet times he enjoyed having his family read to him. Survivors include; parents Joseph and Jessica Lausten; siblings Hayden, Bryanna, Zoey, Jalynn, and Tobis; maternal grandparents Rose Boyles and her husband Cleve; maternal grandfather Kenneth Thoele, maternal great grandmother Glenice Mitchell; maternal great grandfather Raymond Mitchell; maternal great grandfather John Thoele and his wife Carol; paternal grandmother Mary Lausten; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jude is preceded in death by brother Wyatt Lausten; paternal grandfather Leonard Lausten; paternal great grandparents Everett and Loretta Wold; Leonard and Agnes Lausten; and Raymond Mitchell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parenting Children with Special Needs or Make a Wish.
