John Burrell Lawson

John Burrell Lawson, 74, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away December 7, 2015. A masonic and memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a visitation, on Friday, December 11, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. John was born October 13, 1941, in Independence, MO, to Joseph Burrell and Erma Estelle Lawson. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lil Lawson; and brother, Jim Lawson. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Lawson; daughter, Kari Lawson-Rush; son, John “Bart” Lawson; daughter, Paula Vidal; grandchildren, Spencer and Crystal Lawson, Forrest and Jordan Rush, Michael and Andrew Vidal; great granddaughter, Ava Timmons; and his beloved dog Maggie.
