Gregory A. Leaming

Gregory A. Leaming, 80, of Independence, MO passed away December 21, 2016. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27th from 12-2:00pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence. A service will follow at 2:00pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial with full military honors will take place Wednesday, December 28th at 12:00pm at Dadeville Masonic Cemetery. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles and daughter, Julie Leaming. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Joan; daughter, Judy Holloway-Myers, son, Jacob and his wife Brenda, step-sons, David Gillen and his wife, Debbie, Donald Gillen and his wife, Tia, and Danny Gillen and his wife, Chastity; sisters, Phyllis Shaffer and Johnell Knoop and a brother, Bill; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Gregory retired after 30 years of employment with Lake City Ammunition.
