Eddie "Ed" Lee Butler

Eddie “Ed” L. Butler, 62, of Independence, passed away on April 9th, 2018. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 14th from 9:00-10:00am with a funeral service following at 10:00am, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Ed was born to Homer Sr. and Francis “Blanche” (Hutsell) Butler on November 20, 1955, in Lexington, MO. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Marla; his three children, Eric, Amy and Brad; his grandson, Dylan; his siblings, Homer Jr. “Bud” Butler and his wife, Sheila; Jack Butler and his wife, Linda; Mary Gann and her husband, Don, and Jo Liles and her husband, Rick; his brother-in-law, Larry Miller and his sister-in-law, Sue Butler. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Wilma “Deane” Venable, Billie Butler, Betty Miller, Peggy Fernau, and Larry Butler.
