Donald W. Lee

Donald W. Lee, 56, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, June 12, 2006 at North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with private interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Don was born July 2, 1949 in Kansas City, MO to Harold and Leona (Senechal) Lee. Mr. Lee had worked for Armco Steel 29 years, most recently at Lake City. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, boating and playing golf. He treasured spending time with relatives and friends at the family farm. Don is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela Gale (Wilson) of the home; son and daughter-in-law Donald W. and Kathleen Lee II; daughter Lesley Lee; grandchildren Taylor, Donald W. Lee III, Jenna Frasier; sisters Helen Gulick and Carol Ann Dover; special cousins Gary and Diana Klint. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Leona.
