Mary Elizabeth Leiter

Mary Elizabeth Leiter, 91, of Raytown, MO passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2005. Visitation will be Saturday, February 12th from 10 to 11 am, with the funeral service following at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Northern Blvd. United Methodist Church. Mary was born June 2, 1913 in Napoleon, MO. She worked for the Kansas City Public School District for over 20 years, and volunteered for 20 years at Independence Regional Health Center. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Earl Leiter in 1984. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Pieper of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Jeffrey Pieper of Liberty, MO, and Kristin Roberts of Blue Springs, MO; and four great grandsons.
