MELVIN LEE LEMASTER
Melvin LeMaster, 76, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
Melvin was born on May 8, 1940 in Circleville, OH to Lonnie and Hazel LeMaster. He worked many years as a fork lift operator for several different companies. In his younger days he liked to hunt, fish and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke was always a favorite.
Left behind to remember his life are his children Duane Carson and wife Cynthia of Brandon, FL, Belinda Hedrick of Independence, MO, Wendy Kleoppel and husband Brian of Odessa, MO; 2 brothers Allen LeMaster of Witchita, KS and Kenny LeMaster and wife Sharon of Ohio; 4 sisters Barb Speakman and husband Ron, Sue Redman and husband Rick, Terry Jones, and Kim LeMaster – all of Ohio; 6 grandchildren Jonathan Carson and wife Missy, Nickolas Carson, Ashley Kleoppel, Allison Deshazer, Austin Deshazer, and Matthew Carson.
