Jerl Lewis

Jerl "Lee� Lewis, 68 of Independence, MO passed away Friday, Sep. 5, 2003 at his home. As per Mr. Lewis�s wishes, no services are planned. Mr. Lewis was born on Dec. 16, 1934 in Robinson, KS to Albert and Bessie Lewis and has lived in the Kansas City - Independence area most of his life. He married Janice Ditzfeld On June 28, 1952, whom he loved and cherished very much. He had owned and operated the Lewis Kirby Vacuum Company in Independence for 32 years. Lee was a devoted husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Lewis. His mother and Stepfather, Bessie and Curt Blankenship, two brothers, Carlos Lewis and Charles Lewis, also by a grandson, Brett Lewis. Mr. Lewis is survived by is wife Janice Lewis. Two sons, Tony Lewis and Daniel Lewis. Two daughters Cheryl Widmer and Kathy Wackerman. Ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
