Marjorie D Lewis (Dudenhoefer)

Marjorie D Lewis, 90, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away Sun, June 9, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Sat, June 15, 2019 at Mt. Washington Cemetery, 614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, MO 64053. Marjorie was the only child born to Frank and Louise (Lepper) Dudenhoefer on May 21, 1929 in Ft. Wayne, IN. After graduating from high school, Marjorie met and married Maurice Lewis and they had three sons, Steven, Warren and Alan. Marjorie was a good mother and wife, devout church-goer and christian. She loved singing and painting. Marjorie also enjoyed going out with friends, especially to dinner theater, and traveling when she could. Her favorite thing was ice cream. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Steven Lewis, Warren (Ursula) Lewis, and Alan Lewis; and step-granddaughter, Yomira. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice and both parents.
