Florence Bernice Lierman

Florence Bernice Lierman, 85, of Independence, MO passed away on August 10, 2006 at the Rosewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at the chapel. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The Groves Auxiliary Fund. Florence was born on August 18, 1920 in Lexington, MO to Edward W. and Irene (Sudbrock) Marcks. She enjoyed spending time on her crossword puzzles, and finely manicuring her yard. Florence was a loving mother and grandmother, who idolized her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph C. Lierman; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. Florence is survived by her son, Ernest E. Lierman and wife, Dr. JoAnn Lierman; grandson, Richard Lierman and wife Rebekah; granddaughter, Carrie Dwyer and husband Sean; granddaughter, Bernice Lierman; and 5 great-grandchildren.
