Linda Lou Anderberg passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024 surrounded by family. Linda was born to Earl and Louise (Westerman) Dalton on August 11, 1943 in Sedalia, Missouri.
Her life, one marked by kindness and warmth, touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Linda devoted her life to nurturing those around her. As a dedicated homemaker, she created a loving sanctuary for her family, and her gentle spirit was evident in everything she did. She was known for her unwavering commitment to helping others. She took pride in helping people to achieve their educational goals and taught classes designed to guide them through their GED studies. Linda also shared her passion for nature while working at a plant nursery, where her green thumb blossomed.
For many years, Linda worked alongside her husband to run their antique store. She was the adventurous spirit who traveled the world, ever eager to explore new horizons. She cherished her family and valued the time spent with them, particularly at their home in Branson, where memories were created. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed indulging in the simple pleasures of life, which included being known as the QVC online shopping queen—a title she wore with pride and amusement. Linda was also an avid sports fan of the Missouri Tigers, Kansas Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and any team her son was playing for.
As a devote Catholic, Linda’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, grounding her in love and compassion. She was a strong advocate for the unborn and participated in many pro-Life marches in Washington DC. Linda is survived by a cherished community of friends and family who will forever hold her spirit close in their hearts. Her kindness, her laughter, and her ability to make everyone feel special will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Linda is survived by her son, Peter “Keith” Anderberg II (Joan); grandsons, Peter Anderberg III (Laura) and Noah Anderberg.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter “Ande” Anderberg; daughter, Pam Anderberg; parents, Earl and Louise Dalton and brother, Mike Dalton.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Friday, October 25th at St. Mark Catholic Church in Independence, Missouri. Mass will begin at 11am.
