Ruth Lingerfelt

Ruth Ann Lingerfelt, 101, of Kansas City, MO passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00am with a funeral service following at 10:00am, on Friday, August 24th 2018 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Interment will immediately follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.
Ruth was born on April 27, 1917, in Kansas City, MO to Harry and Mary (LeHanne) Bechtel. She worked for many years at Corn Products, now Natural Starch and was an active member at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Independence. Ruth enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and gardening, but her passion was caring for her family. She leaves behind a large family that will miss her greatly.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ted Crowley in 1967; her second husband, Ray Lingerfelt in 1993; her sons, Ted Crowley and Tom Crowley and her daughter, Mary Ann Britz.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Crowley of KCMO, 13 grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren; as well as, a sister, Mary Katherine Converse of AR.
