Kathryn Linton

Kathryn Linton, 86 of Independence passed away Sun Aug 5, 2007 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 am, Thu. Aug 9, 2007 at the Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO. Burial in Lobb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association. Mrs. Linton was born on Sep 25, 1920 to Carl and Faye (Giddens) Haynie in Arkansas and had lived in Independence before moving to Joplin for several years and then moving back to Independence a few months ago. Kathy was a loving Mother and Grandmother who enjoy spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Southern Baptist Faith. She is survived by a son, Jerry Ford and wife Lisa of Eustis, FL; a daughter, Diane Glebe and husband Floyd of Independence, MO; step-son, Sam Linton and wife Donna of Idaho; step-daughter Jackie Laffley and husband, John of Noel, MO. A brother, Robert Haynie of San Jose, CA, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
