Lisa Anne (Costanza) Barritt, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023. She was 61 years of age.
Lisa was born on July 16, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Angelo and Flora (Tapp) Costanza, Jr. and was one of three children. She attended Fort Osage High School and was in the graduating class of 1980. Lisa worked as a flight attendant for US Airways for 20 years and loved traveling. In 2014 Lisa married her love and best friend, Tony Barritt.
Lisa was a strong woman and a pancreatic cancer survivor. She loved all children and helped every week at church in the preschool Sunday school. Lisa had great faith in God and was a member of several small groups at East Side Church. Her favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz and she was a lover of all animals, especially her pups. Most of all, Lisa deeply loved her family. She adored her three children and her 5 grandchildren. Lisa had such a beautiful spirit and will be incredibly missed by all she touched.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Tony Barritt; children, Eric Hilliker, Alex (Lindsay) Hilliker, Alayna (John) Dickerson; 5 grandchildren, Blake, Andy, Teddy, Tommy, Leo; mother, Flora Costanza; brothers, Mark (Tamara) Costanza, Chris Costanza; a niece and nephew, extended family, dear friends; and her beloved dog, Truman. She is preceded in death by her father, Angelo Costanza, Jr., and fur babies from years past.
Services will take place Saturday, January 6, 2024, at East Side Church, 19901 MO-78, Independence, MO 64057. Family will greet guests between the hours of 1-2pm for a visitation, with the celebration of life service to follow at 2pm. Lisa will be laid to rest in the Blue Springs Cemetery following the memorial service. In Lieu of flowers, the family recommends contributions be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) in Lisa’s honor.
