Lisa Renee Proctor, born on March 12, 1979, in Independence, Missouri, passed away on November 13, 2024, in North Kansas City.
A graduate of Fort Osage High School, Lisa's exuberance for life was evident in her many hobbies and interests. She was a spirited individual, known for her playful teasing and stubborn nature, traits that endeared her to many. Whether she was roller skating, bowling, or enthusiastically attending tractor pulls and rodeos, Lisa embraced every opportunity to have fun. Her love for dancing and country music not only reflected her vivacious spirit but also led her to reconnect with an old friend, who would become both her best friend and her loving husband. In addition to her wide-ranging interests, Lisa was an animal lover who adored her dogs and chickens. Lisa found great joy in fishing with her husband, Steven, and their family, bringing home their catches to enjoy hearty fish fries together. She actively participated in the Optimist Club, embodying the spirit of encouragement and support for her community. The thing Lisa treasured most in life was her family; they were her pride and greatest joy.
Lisa's legacy lives on through her beloved husband, Steven Proctor; her mother, Deborah Albertson (Mitchell); her father-in-law, Steven Charles Proctor Sr.; her sister, Tiffany VanVoorst (Robert); her step-sister, Mindy Horton; her grandparents, Dennis and Reva Stanley; her aunt and uncle, Tracie and Dennis Stanley Jr., and her nephew, Blake VanVoorst.
