Dennis K. “Denny” Lobb, 69, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2022, at Ignite Medical Resort in Blue Springs, MO.
Dennis K. “Denny” Lobb was born on February 13, 1953, at Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, KS, to Marlin and Gweneth (Slaney) Lobb. He graduated from Turner High School in 1971. Denny began working as a purchasing agent and machinist at Allis Chalmers for 13 years. He then continued his career with RMF Steel for 22 years as a manufacturing salesman.
Denny will be remembered for his love of fishing at the lake and working in the yard, cheering on the Chiefs, Royals, and most of all the KU Jayhawks. He will leave a huge hole in the lives he touched. Denny was loved by all whose lives he encountered.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Tanya Lobb; daughter, Nikole (Joe) Lobb Dougherty; brother, Mike (Theresa) Lobb; brother-in-law, Don Pennington; son-in-law, John Boin; son, John Joseph Cunningham; four grandchildren, Garrett W. Boin, Dylan S. Boin, Miles J. Dougherty and Marlo G. Dougherty and many nieces and nephews.
Denny is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Ann Boin and sister, Shirley Pennington.
