Irma Marie Loeffler, 88, of Grandview, MO, passed away, Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Grandview, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time Friday at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House. Irma was born April 16, 1926 in Pittsburg, KS to Harry and Annabelle (Cronister) Becker. She moved to Kansas City, MO in 1928 and graduated from Southeast High School in 1942. She worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft during WWII assembling tech manuals for the aircraft. Later she worked at Western Weigh at Union Station for 16 years before settling down to raise her 3 sons. She later worked part time at the IRS and was also an Avon Rep. She was a member of the American Legion Post #386 Women’s Auxiliary and later joined the American Legion Post #598. She was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan. She is survived by; 2 sons, Joseph B. and James E. Loeffler. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Loeffler, a son, John R.
