Shirley Clarice "Gigi" Logan

Shirley Clarice Logan, of Kansas City, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was 80 years old.

Shirley was born on July 22, 1942, in Seattle, Washington to Charles Hammons and Josephine Patterson. In high school Shirley met the love of her life, Lewis Logan. They married in 1958, and from their union came eight children. Shirley became an after-school assistant and poured her heart and soul into her work. She loved her kids at school and dedicated hours of her time also volunteering for Toys for Tots. When she wasn’t spending time with her kids at school, she was spending it with her own family whom she adored with her whole heart. She enjoyed baking bread and cookies, crocheting, and reading. Shirley loved to be surrounded with houseplants and flowers, and especially enjoyed her planted roses in the front yard. She was spunky, feisty, and loved her family fiercely. Shirley will be so dearly missed.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Charles Hammons and Josephine Patterson, her husband; Lewis T. Logan Sr., her grandsons; Kevin Logan Sr, and Dominique Logan and brother Theopolis Dubios. She is survived by her children; Lynn I. Logan, Lewis T. Logan Jr., Charles R. Logan, Hayward M. Logan, D'Andra L. Logan, Joseph C. Logan, Delano L. Logan, and Dwayne M. Logan, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
