Eldene Logeman, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021. She was 94 years old.
Eldene was born on July 22 1927, in Kansas City, Missouri; and adoringly loved by her parents Arthur Peer and Ethel (Russell) Peer. On November 30, 1945, Eldene married the love of her life and her very best friend, Otto Paul “Bud” Logeman and from their union came two children. Eldene worked in the title business for years off and on between staying home with her family when it was needed, always balancing the perfect “ebb and flow”. Eldene was a lifelong member of the Buckner Restoration Branch Church and a very active member at that; singing in the choir, being the scorekeeper for their softball team, to growing the grapes and making grape juice for their communion, a tradition passed on from her loving parents. Eldene loved to travel and was pretty famous for her wonderful pies. She enjoyed watching sports with Bud and was season ticket holder of the Kansas City Chiefs and Missouri Tigers for years. Eldene was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, with an admirable devotion to her family and to the Lord. She will be greatly missed but we know she is with us in our hearts, while she is walking with the Lord.
Eldene is survived by her children, David (Terry) Logeman, Beverly (Tom) Bertolone; grandchildren, Anthony Bertolone, Erica (Darren) King, Corey Webb; great grandchildren, Kaylee Webb, Ethan Webb, Kennedy King and Alexa King; beloved cat, Sidney Paul. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Peer; her loving husband of 63 years, Otto Paul “Bud” Logeman; grandsons, Brent and Eric Logeman; brother, Thomas Peer.
